Resume objectives have personally haunted me in the past. The objective is the first thing an employer will see and should concisely state what you want to do. It's also the shortest section of the resume, but cannot be overlooked so easily. So the question remains: What do you want to do?

What I wanted to do was simple -- land a job. However, this shouldn't be what's written on your resume objectives. What should be there is a simple, brief, but clear statement on what you are really looking for in a job.
